On May 20th 1927, Charles Lindbergh began his historic flight across the Atlantic from New York to Paris in the Spirit of St. Louis. This wonderful bracelet is a piece of history and commemorates this historic flight. The same bracelet is on display at the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum and is pictured here http://airandspace.si.edu/collections/artifact.cfm?object=nasm_A20040287034 .
The bracelet displays the Spirit of St. Louis with New York Paris on the plane and 33 hrs 29 Min just below the aircraft. The Statue of Liberty, Eiffel Tower, a four leaf clover inside a horseshoe, and building with a flag on top are also depicted.
Circa 1920s. Measures 1" wide, 3/4" opening, 5-3/4" length. One small area of missing silver tone just below cloud by Eiffel tower, some minor surface scratching on back. Remainder in excellent condition.
