Wonderful original hand painted lithograph of "Marguerite De Valois Souer De France", born May 14,1555, died March 27,1615. In 1572 she was forced to marry the Protestant Henry of Navarre in order to reconcile the Protestant-Catholic relations. 1994 a film biography was produced called "Queen Margot" which portrayed her charm, intrigues and literary talent. Period birdseye frame. Condition: Very good. Size: 14.5"W X 17"H
