An antique Victorian sterling silver locker and collar. The locket has wonderful applied decorations to the front in both rose and yellow gold. It has tiny ball decorations around the rim and all are present with none missing. The locket opens and still has both retaining rims and one glass cover, the cover is broken but I believe it could be repaired using windscreen repair. I have never tried this myself but I will in the future, it is worth a go imo. The locket measures approx. 2 1/2" including bale and chain 17". It fastens with an oversized bolt ring style closure. It is fully hallmarked on the back of the locket for Birmingham 1881 and has a makers mark of W & Co. The bale has a tiny lion passant stamp which is the English sterling silver guarantee mark and the chain is unmarked as is usual for many antique silver items but guaranteed to be as sold. It all weighs 37.4g. It is in very good antique condition and will not disappoint.
