An unusual Victorian Albert watch chain complete with T bar & fob. I do believe this is either Vulcanite or gutta percha possibly even jet but I am doubtful about that one and I cannot be certain of the other two. It comprises cubes and links that vary in size and separated by brass components. I have never been an advocate for cleaning antique jewellery but I think this would look stunning if someone had the time, patience and tools to take this apart, clean it and then re-assemble it. It measures approx. 13" from T bar to screw hook fastener with a further 1" from which the cubed fob hangs. In general, it is in very good condition with only minor nicks and one slightly larger nibble that I have only noticed when taking magnified photos.
