A beautiful pair of antique 15ct gold Victorian earrings that have a hand chased flower in the raised centre that has a diamond 'flower head'. There is a row of bead work edging then a lower raised section with twisted wire work edging then finally a lower pie crust edging. These have a 9ct gold post back with 9ct gold 'butterflies'. I believe these have been converted, perhaps from buttons, but make perfect ear adornments. One of the centre diamonds looks to have been chipped at some point in its life but it does not spoil the overall appearance. These measure approx. 1.8cm dia. or 3/4" dia. and weighs, a healthy 4.4g. They have been tested for gold content using the latest XRF metal testing machine. These have not been cleaned and I would suggest at least the posts be sterilised before wearing.
