A most unusual Victorian 18ct gold ornate bracelet that is set with alternating seed pearls and rubies. There is one tiny seed pearl missing that I'm sure a jeweller will be able to replace if necessary. The gem side is patterned and the other side is plain. It has a concealed push in fastener and a safety chain to help prevent loss. The tongue on the fastener is stamped with the old 18ct mark. It measures approx. 6 3/4" - 7" x 3/8" and weighs, a healthy, 15.7g. It is in very good antique condition with just a couple of tiny pin prick holes I only noticed with highly magnified photos. These are 'lost' within the pattern. The plain side has a couple of minor indentations as shown in photos and mentioned for accuracy. In general, considering it is approx. 136 years old, I consider it to be in very good condition.
