This is a simply stunning antique ring up-cycled from a Georgian pendant. It is heart shaped with a band of orange enamel on the outer rim. Inside the heart are two trefoils each set with three tiny diamonds. There is also a tear drop mount that has a black enamel surround that has a centre old cut diamond with an approx. weight of 3/4 carat or 0.75 carat, this is no slouch in the diamond weight department. It weighs 8g. and is stamped 925 inside the band. It has been mounted onto silver trellis work and a substantial silver shank. The face of the outer bands, either side of the orange band is gold covered. The diamond is foil backed and does have some inclusions and a couple of chips but overall this ring is in very good antique condition. I can't be exactly certain of what alterations have been made to this ring or when but I can be absolutely certain it is a one-off, fabulous piece of jewellery and it deserves to be seen.
