An antique Victorian 9ct rose gold ring that has raised lettering MIZPAH which means "watchtower" in Hebrew. Mizpah has come to connote an emotional bond between people who are separated (either physically or by death). It measures approx. US size 5 - 5 1/2 and UK size J 1/2 and weighs 3g. It measures approx. 0.9cm at the front and narrows to 0.2cm at the back. The back has possibly narrowed due to wear but it is still in very good antique condition. It bears a full English hallmark for Birmingham 1889.
