A beautiful antique Edwardian silver (min. 900) double sided picture locket surrounded by a silver gilt frame that is in turn surrounded by a clear paste frame. All this is suspended from a clear surmount in the shape of a bow and also set with clear paste. I believe this to be French and it has a partial stamp on the back but it is unreadable. It has the added benefit of a 20" sterling silver chain that is marked STERLING on the bolt ring style fastener. Don't know if these started out life together but they are well matched. The pendant measures approx. 1 5/8" x 1" and as a whole weighs 11.1g. It is in very good antique condition.
The photo shows the bow on upside down but it is correct in real life.
