A beautiful Victorian/Edwardian sterling silver (tested) horse shoe brooch/pin. It has black enamelling to the sides that is set with tiny split seed pearls, just one is missing but hardly visible to the naked eye. The top section is white enamel with a spray of pansies and roses in multi colours. There is slight damage to the top coat of enamel but again, hardly noticeable to the naked eye. I have cleaned it slightly but more could be done if desired. The pin is in good working order. I have a small collection of horse shoes that I intended to join together to make a bracelet by removing the pins but it is just another collection I have done nothing with so perhaps someone else might wish to do the same. It measures approx. 2.2cm x 1.8cm and weighs 5.3g.
