An antique Victorian sterling silver locket that bears a full English hallmark for Birmingham 1884 on the back. It also has a makers mark of M.J.G (Michael Joseph Goldsmith). It has an unusual, archery, subject hand engraved to the front and also has an applied raised archer aiming his bow at a target. It is in very good antique condition with only minor dimples to the back. It opens to space for photos and still has one retaining rim and a glass cover. The glass cover has a small piece missing as shown in photos. It measures approx. 2 3/16 overall x 1 3/16" and weighs 12.1g. A rare addition to any collection.
