This stunning 15 inch cabinet size J. D. Kestner 128 girl in one of the earlier Kestner mold numbers. She has a closed mouth and a very pouty expression. Her luminous, glass eyes are that wonderful Kestner blue and are surrounded by perfect, tiny painted eyelashes. Above them she has multistroke eyebrows. Her bisque head has nice crisp modeling and a creamy complexion with light blushing. It is perfect with no damage, chips or hairlines. She has a blonde mohair wig and retains her original plaster pate. Her shell pink cotton dress is a newer replacement, but styled perfectly for her. All of her antique undergarments are original to her, consisting of silk undershirt, cotton chemise attached to wool slip trimmed with faggoting, cotton half slip and pantalets trimmed with lace. Her socks are an orange / brown and her shoes are black. The original and perfect early Kestner 6 ball body which is stamped with the Kestner Excelsior stamp on the back, retains original finish, no repaint, no repairs. Please note: the loopy line on her forehead is a hair, not damage. Her eyes have been set stationary. A very hard to find pouty beauty, from a smoke-free home and ready to go into your collection. Please ask about my layaway policy.
