A Lovely Antique German Fashion doll by Gebruder Kuhlenz was made in the last quarter of the 19th century for the French Market. She has such a dreamy look with her big spiral threaded pale blue glass eyes. Her mouth is outlined with lovely brush strokes and her eyebrows are nicely feathered. She is 14 inches tall and dressed in a blue cotton walking suit. This girl is mold number 38.23 with a solid dome, turned shoulder head, closed mouth, pierced ears and original blonde mohair wig. She is on a fashion kid body with lower bisque arms. Condition: No damage to her bisque shoulder head. The tip of her right thumb is broken. The kid body is in overall good condition, has been patched on the knee gussets. This is the same type of doll as the much sought after 16" Fashion Lady dolls you see at Convention! Other than that, no other damage. She is simply a beautiful example of a GK fashion doll, from a smoke-free home. Layaway available.
