This item is a 6" porcelain vase by the H. Wehinger & Co. The factory was located in the Czech Republic. The mark on the base was used between 1918 and 1928 when the factory closed.
This vase is beautiful. It is rose pink in color with gold gilt highlighting the piece. The gold at the top dips down into the vase and also trims the outer top. A soft heart shaped design in the gold seems to float down from the top gold band. The base of the vase is also trimmed in gold.
This vase is about 6" in height, 1 3/4" across the top and about a 2" square base. I find this piece to be in excellent condition. There are no chips, cracks, fleabites or repairs that I can see. The pink color and the gold gilt are beautiful. On the base is the company logo mark used between 1918 and 1928. It is the pottery lidded vase design with a "W" in the center and below it reads "Czecho . Slovakia".
