This item is a Goldscheider porcelain figurine manufactured by the Goldscheider-Everlast Corp. in Trenton, New Jersey. It is my understanding this was operated between 1940 and 1952.
This 1940's porcelain piece is a bust of a beautiful and serene lady. She is portrayed wearing a pink dress with a wide gray lace collar. Her large hat is pink with yellow lining. It is decorated with a red rose and is tied with a black ribbon. Her hair is wavy around her face and falls down her next in soft curled tendrils. Her head is tilted to one side. She is shown on a base of gray porcelain trimmed with green vines.
The porcelain is in excellent condition. No chips or cracks. I do not see any crazing. The colors are beautiful and clear. This is a lovely piece.
She measures approximately 7" to the top of her hat and 5 1/4" from shoulder to shoulder. She is marked on the bottom with two stamps. One reads "Goldscheider USA" printed around a large "G". The other stamp reads "Goldscheider Everlast Corp.". This is printed in a double circle stamp. There are numbers embossed on the base from the manufacturing process.
