This item if for 2 matching black pottery vases or bowls (olla's) from Oaxaxa Mexico. Hand made, this process uses black clay found in the Oaxaxa region of Mexico. These vases are clear black pottery, no design and no maker mark. They are part of a collection that dates back to the 1970's. Each of the olla's is about 4" tall. There is a small opening at the top that is about 1 3/4". The black on black clay or blackware pottery is traditionally made in the OAXACA, Mexico area. These vases are in good vintage condition. I do not find any chips, cracks or repairs. There are some use marks.
