This item is a baroque pearl and rhinestone brooch and earring set designed and signed by Miriam Haskell. Miriam Haskell was an American designer of luxury costume jewelry between the 1920's to the 1960's. Each of the items are signed on the back. Each of the two clip-on earrings are signed on the back of the clip with "MIRIAM HASKELL". The back of the brooch is signed with "MIRIAM HASKELL" inside an oval circle. Each of the pieces in this set are designed in the shape of a beautiful sunflower. The double layers of baroque pearls from the petals of the flower. The center of the sunflowers is a circle of rhinestones around a pearlized center. The brooch has a stem laced with rhinestone leaves with round pearl accents. The sunflower earrings measure about 1" in circumference. The sunflower brooch measures about 1 1/2" in circumference and (including the stem) measures about 2 1/2" in length. CONDITION: This set is in beautiful vintage condition. It is from a private collection. The clips on the earrings work as does the long pin to secure the brooch. I do notice that a few of the baroque pearls that form the petals of the sunflowers are slightly loose. They are all intact and none are missing. I do not find any of the rhinestones missing.
