This item is a vintage handbag or clutch by Susan Gail. It is a brown, white and beige snakeskin handbag with a taupe leather trim. When the bag is opened up you have a zipper pocket and an open side pocket. The interior is clean and offers a good storage space with the interior zipper and side pocket to add to that. The front outside of the purse has a leather trim and a decorative faux gold decorative tab. The purse measures approximately 6" tall and 11 1/2" at the widest part. On one side of the interior is the label that reads "Susan Gail/Genuine Snake/Made In Spain". This handbag also has a faux gold shoulder chain.
This purse is in very good vintage condition. I do not see any marks, splits of the leather, or ink marks on the interior. Inside the zipper pocket is a small square mirror. It seems to be a little foggy. There are some age marks on the interior flap, but they appear minor to me. I also note that the interior leather on the flap is worn, but not split. The snap closure works well, but the metal is a little discolored.
