This item is a pair of vintage Capretto Lavabile kid leather gloves. They are a soft bone white leather that is decorated with matching window pane flower cutouts with a tiny white stone in the center of each flower. This is a longer pair of gloves. They do not stop at the wrist, I think they look like they would cover into the mid lower arm. This pair of gloves are in like new condition. In fact, I do not think they have ever been worn. They are in the original clear sleeve holder and are tagged together at the wrist with the original threading. They are stamped on the interior of one glove with the logo that reads "Lavabile" and 6 1/2 (size). There is also the number "16" stamped inside each glove.
Condition: I do not find any stains, or loose threading. Nothing looks stretched. I do not know how to size gloves, but these look small to me. They measure about 11" from the end to the tip of the longest finger. The width is about 3". The embroidery does not have any loose threading that I can see. All the floral center stones seem to be intact.
These gloves are from a private estate. I am guessing they are probably from the 1950's. The leather is soft and the embroidery is beautiful.
