This WWII Laminated Liberty head heart pendant is an unusual piece from the early 40s. Sitting atop what looks like an iron heart, shiny on the back and matte on the front, is a laminated heart. On top of the heart is a Liberty head cut from a dime. There are four layers of lamination which I believe are Lucite. The alternate cream pieces may be cold paint. The dime, of course, is silver. Beautiful piece which weighs 25 grams just to give an idea of how heavy it is.
It measures 1 3/4" from to to bottom and 1 1/2" side to side.
The original fixed loop hole is there. It just need a ring.
An unusual WWII Sweetheart pendant.
