These contemporary earrings are made in a style that was popular at the late 1800's. They measure over 2" from the top of the wire to the bottom of the dangle. There is one garnet in the tops of the earring and 4 in the bottoms. The earrings dangle and move when you do. They are 1/2" at the bottom which is the widest part of the earring and weigh 8.4 grams. They are marked 585 for 14K. We know they are often sold as antique but they are not and the earrings coming out of England now can fool the best of us. If they are marked 585 or 14K they are contemporary. They wear beautifully and, unlike the older ones, are truly affordable.
