A great, old, cast-iron clear toy candy mold from a private collection. This single cavity mold will display nicely with its custom, made-to-fit display stand. We believe this mold dates to the 19th or early 20th century. It is unmarked but may have been made by Thomas Mills and Brother, Philadelphia PA. The mold is in good, as-found condition, has some wear. We have not cleaned or done anything to it. The collector had the display stands custom made for each mold. The Tea Kettle mold itself (not including the stand) measures approx. 2.125” H X 2.125” W. The mold and stand together weigh approx. 1 pound, 2 ounces. We are also separately listing five other clear toy candy molds from the same collection.
