A wonderful transfer decorated porcelain oyster plate. The mark identifies it as Victoria Austria made between 1904 -1918. Made by "Victoria" Schmidt & Co., founded 1883 by Lazarus and Rosenfeld, Ltd. 1885 it was sold to Franz Schmidt. The pattern number 246 is also marked on the bottom. The plate is in excellent condition, no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs. There is some minimal ware to the gold trim. The plate really doesn't seem like it has seen much use. It measure approx 8 & 5/8" in diameter and approx 1 & 5/8" high. There is one small stain on the bottom rim (see photos).
The plate has six shellfish compartments and a smaller center compartment for cocktail sauce.
