Style abounds in these late 1970's earrings with tsavorites and diamonds!
The 1/2 inch square design features a .45 carat step-cut tsavorite at the center, and .50 carats of bead-set diamonds about (total carat weight of 1.90). The earrings are set in 14K gold (both white and yellow). They have omega style backs that stabilize the earring in position when worn.
Not familiar with tsavorite? This East African gem was discovered in 1967 and marketed by Tiffany's beginning in 1974. Know for it's bright, shiny green- and never treated - color, it is from the garnet family and would made a great gift for the January birthday girl.
