Very rare, very fabulous is this imperial topaz and diamond platinum ring. It is truly a joy to behold.
From the 2004 appraisal:
"One stamped & tested platinum gent's one-of-a-kind cast cluster ring with a colored stone & diamonds with a bright polish finish. Containing:
"Twelve prong set round brilliant cut diamonds, measurements of 2.70 x 1.67 mm, depth est., approx. total weight, .89ct. Clarity VVS2, Color E, Cut Ideal, class 1A.
"Two bezel set triangle brilliant cut diamonds, measurements of 5.80 x 5.80 x 2.25 mm, approx.total weigh, .86ct. Clarity VS1, Color F, Cut Very Good, class 1b.
"One bezel set oval shape standard brilliant cut natural imperial topaz, gauging 12.43 x 7.98 x 5.75 mm, approx. weight 4.35ct. Clarity VS, type I, medium, moderately strong, reddish orange (GIA rO 5/4), cut is excellent.
"Total weight of colored stones, 4.35ct.; Total weight of diamonds, 1.75ct, total weight of ring, 34.10gm."
The ring is a size 10 1/2. And spectacular.
Please note that in certain shots there is a fuzz on the topaz toward the top. This is a fuzz, not a flaw. A flaw in my eyes, perhaps - it's amazing what digital cameras pick up.
