An English Victorian satinwood tilt-top breakfast table, circa 1855. The table features a fine inlayed border of oak leaves, acorns, and ivy, in various hardwoods including rosewood. oak and walnut. Partial gilt base and fabulous carved shell feet with casters. This table is approx. 54 1/4" inches in length, 43 1/4" in width, and 28 1/2" in height. Minor imperfections to surface area commensurate with age. A Cope & Collinson Plaque registered on October 31st, 1856 on the underside of the table top. Guaranteed to be as described.
