A large gilt Adams style mirror dating from the 1st half of the 19th century. The mirror is all original though it has had some 'monkeying' with the wheat sheafs on the sides. The top has a nice carved eagle and below that are four reverse painted panels. The central one with Europa and the Bull (Zeus) The top panel is a cornucopia and the sides have birds. It is approx. 50" high by 17" wide. Guaranteed to be as described.
