An American federal period tall case clock, circa 1790. The clock features a pagoda top with brass finials (added later), a brass 8 day movement, and painted dial with Roman numerals. The case is yew wood. It has been refinished and the stain is a very dark red. The clock is in good working condition. It is approx. 90" from the floor to the top of the highest finial, 17" wide and 10" deep. The case has a couple of problems. The base is split in two places and the door in the waist is warped. Guaranteed to be as described.
