A charming little American cherrywood bench, circa 1840. It is solid cherry with an upholstered seat, cushion and two throw pillows. The bench is 63 1/2" wide by 32" high at the back by 18" deep. Floor to seat height is 16". Condition is good overall. The bench has a nice old finish, probably original. The seat should have had some caning but it only has two layers of fabric which makes it not terribly suitable for actual sitting upon. The back rail is a bit loose as well. The bench should not be used for seating on a regular basis unless it has some work done. It IS very decorative and would be terrific as an accent piece or in a hallway. Guaranteed to be as described.
