A fine English or Welsh oak dresser, circa 1750. The top has fretwork carving, with three open shelves and two partially open cubby shelves. They do not appear to have ever had doors on them. The base has three short drawers over three closed cupboards with paneled sides, all over bracket feet. The dresser is all oak with elm crossbanding and the finish is original. The hardware is not original but IS mid 18th century period hardware, and correct for the piece. The dresser is 74" wide by 20" deep by 80" high. In very good condition overall. Guaranteed to be as described.
