A fine English Hepplewhite period mahogany armchair, circa 1770. The chair is solid mahogany, with a rounded chair rail, pierced back splat, and square tapering legs. The finish is original and the chair has terrific color and patination. It is 37 1/2" high at the back by 22" wide at the front by 18" deep. The seat height is 19" from the floor to the top of the seat. The seat is a drop type in so it's very easy to re-upholster. Guaranteed to be as described.
