A gorgeous antique demi parure dating from the late 19th century, circa 1880's. The necklace and bracelet are set with seed pearls and natural emeralds, (not oiled or filled, in our opinion). The largest emerald, in the necklace, is approx. .70ct. -.75ct. There are over 150 emeralds in this set and perhaps even more pearls. The metal is unmarked and tests as 18K. The weight of the two items is approx. 66.76 grams. The emeralds are of medium quality. Some are "crunched" but there are none missing. The color is a more intense, deeper green than the photos show. I don't know why emeralds always seem to look paler and more blue in pictures than they really are? The set is Guaranteed to be as described.
