A large English Victorian period silverplate centerpiece made by Elkington, circa 1860. Designed with grape vines, leaves and grapes. A superb example and very decorative. It is signed/marked on the base. The frosted glass bowl is perfect. The silver is in very good condition though the piece has been somewhat over polished. It looks like it was dipped and then hand polished with a paste polish like wrights. It is 22" high from the base to the top (with the bowl) and the bowl is 9". In excellent condition and guaranteed to be as described.
