Fabulous line bracelet made up of nine linked disks or charms. Enameled in a rich, transparent cobalt blue allowing the texture of the disks to show through. The bracelet features nine of Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tales:
• Thumbelina, also known as Little Tiny (1835) • The Tinder Box (1835) • The Brave Tin Soldier (1838) • Mr. Sandman, also known as The Dream God (1942) • The Flying Trunk (1838) • The Emperor's New Clothes (1837) • The Princess and The Pea (1835) • The Nightingale (1844) • The Little Match Seller (1846)
AGE: 1950s - 1960
METAL: Sterling Silver
CONDITION: In excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks to any of the enameling. Traditional spring ring clasp opens and closes easily. Two No-Solder Jump Rings have been added next to the spring ring clasp allowing the bracelet to lay flat. End ring is a bit small so I'll include a larger No-Solder Jump Ring in case buyer feels it needs to be changed.
HALLMARK: STERLING DENMARK on the back
SIZE: Disks are 1/2" in diameter. Bracelet measures 7-1/4" in wearable length. Additional jump rings can be added to the end to make the bracelet longer. Coin in the last photo is to help show scale.
WEIGHT: 12.7 grams
A perfect bracelet to represent a trip to Scandinavian or to add to a Hans Christian Andersen memorabilia collection.
