This pretty American Brilliant Cut Glass cream and sugar set have a pretty pattern of flowers and leaves. The flower petals are cut with fine lines to give an almost frosty look. The center of the flower is cut into small hobnails. The leaves wind gracefully around both sides of the flowers. On the sugar, which is a bit larger than the creamer, the leaves come up on both sides symmetrically, while on the creamer the leaves are different on both sides of the flower. The rim is scalloped. Handles on the sugar and creamer have bull’s eyes cut in two rows coming down the handles. The bases are cut into simple stars. The spout of the creamer is cut with lovely flutes.
We have not found marks and have not been able to identify the maker.
