This little guy is begging for you to pay attention to him… and maybe even take him home with you. This dachshund figurine was designed by Fritz Diller for the Rosenthal porcelain company in 1913. We believe this piece was made after 1957, based on the mark. It features a very lifelike brown short haired dachshund, sitting up on his haunches in a begging position. His head is cocked to the side; he really wants you to like him!

This piece comes from the estate of Phil’s mother. She was mainly a collector of glass, but also had an extensive collection of animal figurines that were purchased over many years.

SIZE: This figurine is 5 1/2" tall, about 2 3/8” wide and about 2 1/2" deep.

CONDITION: This dachshund is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks or scratches.
