These pretty cordial or sherry glasses start with an elegant shape. The stems are short and the bowl is tall with a slender “waist.” The top has been enameled in white with delicate leaves and grapes. The enameling is detailed and very well done. There is a wide silver band at the lower part of the bowl, and a narrow band in the middle. These are elegant and very pretty glasses that would be fun to display – or use.
This comes from the estate of Phil’s mom, who was a passionate collector of American Brilliant cut glass and other fine art glass.
SIZE: These glasses measure 4 1/2" tall. Diameter at the base is 1 7/8” while diameter at the top rim is 2”.
CONDITION: These are in excellent condition. The enameling is close to 100% intact, as are the silver bands.
