This is a gorgeous cordial! We believe it is Bohemian, probably from the early 1900s. It is not marked. The bowl is a glorious cranberry. The decoration was first engraved and then detailed in gold. The stem is cut, with a small zipper cut going down the edges. The base has a many pointed star cut into it, and is rimmed in gold. Put it all together, and wow!
This comes from the estate of Phil’s mom, who was a passionate collector of American Brilliant cut glass and other fine art glass.
SIZE: This is a long stemmed glass at 4 3/4” tall. Diameter at the base is just under 2 1/4" while diameter at the top is 1 7/8”.
CONDITION: Condition is excellent. We see no chips, cracks or scratches in the glass. The gold is almost completely intact.
This is a real beauty! It would make a wonderful gift for the glass lover in your life… or for yourself!
