This is an exquisitely beautiful piece of Bohemian art glass. The glass itself is clear, with most of it painted in gold. Elaborate thick gold enamel is used to decorate around four panels and also on the top of the base. Raised enameled flowers decorate the four gold panels. The work is careful, precise and very beautiful. We do not know the maker. It’s a gorgeous piece of older art glass, sure to impress.
This comes from the estate of Phil’s mom, who was a passionate collector of American Brilliant cut glass and other fine art glass.
SIZE: This goblet is a tall 7 1/2". Diameter at the base is just over 2 1/2" and at the top is 2 1/4".
CONDITION: There is a tiny nick in the glass at the bottom of the bowl, to the right of one of the dangling gold points. Otherwise, the glass is in excellent condition with no cracks, chips or scratches. The enameling and gold background are in perfect condition with little if any wear at all.
