From Wyandotte, here is a long-lasting toy. Made in the ‘50s this toy was popular enough that replacement decals are now available- a sign that a lot of these toys are still out there. Well, that may be, but very few are in this condition.
Condition: Check out the wheels. No visible wear. Check out the decals. One is complete, while the other is missing a little bit on the lower back of the cow. There are a couple of scratches, the most noticeable is on the front bumper. There are some rub spots on the roof of the cab too.
There are three indentations on each side of the cab, mirroring the opposite side. We thought at first, these were dings. But both sides match, so they must be part of the manufacturing process.
Size: 11 ½ inches long; 4 inches high at the bed; 4 inches wide at the bed.
A nice example of sturdy Wyandotte pressed steel, and a truck that will last at least another 60 plus years.
