This is a gorgeous bowl, made in Czechoslovakia in the first part of the 1900s. It is made with three layers of glass. The inside is a deep cobalt blue. On top of that is a lively pattern of red and yellow-green spattered glass. The green spatters are more yellow at the base and get greener as they go up the sides. Clear glass covers that layer, giving the patterns depth and brilliance. The shape is elegant. It sits on a foot, or pedestal and gracefully curves out before curving back in at the top. The top rim is cut and polished.
SIZE: This bowl is about 3 5/8 inches high. Diameter at the top rim is 5 1/8 inches and at the 3 inches. Diameter at the widest part is about 6 inches.
CONDITION: Condition is very good. There is one small chip on the inside of the top rim. There are no other chips, cracks or scratches.
NOTE: The last image is taken with the bowl sitting on a light bar to show the beautiful blue color.
