This is a very pretty and unusual example of early Czechoslovakian glass. It features a type of class named Aventurine, after the glittery green stone of the same name. This green sparkling glass is cased between a layer of white class on the inside and a layer of clear glass on the outside. the green glass was patterned to allow the white layer to show through in rows of elongated ovals. Controlled air bubbles are also part of the design (although they are quite uneven as far as size go). The vase is cut and polished on the top, with a nice smoothly beveled (or more rounded) edge. The base is marked with MADE IN CZECHOSLOVAKIA., but it is very hard to see, let alone photograph.
SIZE: This little vase measures 3 1/4 inches high. The base has a diameter of 1 3/4 inches while the top diameter is about 1 5/8 inches.
CONDITION: Condition is excellent, with no chips, scratches or cracks.
