Made in the 1930s, this Chein duck, number 102, wind up was introduced in the Easter series. It should not be confused with later smaller walking duck, number 151 which has its two feet as one piece of metal.
This is a very simple windup toy. Wind it up and watch it waddle around.
Size: 5 inches tall; about 3 inches deep at the key; 2 inches wide at the feet
Condition: There are the unusual scratches and scrapes associated with a 75 to 80 year old toy. The lithography is bright and shiny. There may be a ding above the right leg. We can’t be sure it is a ding because it could be just the way the tin was folded.
A nice original toy windup from a simpler time.
