This is a stunning little vase made in Czechoslovakia in the first half of the 20th century. It features brilliant, glowing red hand blown glass cased in clear glass. The shape is elegant, starting round and bulbous at the bottom and then narrowing for most of the vase. The top flares out to a flower petal shape and is rimmed in black glass. Czechoslovakia is acid stamped on the base. This is really a spectacular piece of Czech glass, worthy of any glass collection!
SIZE: This vase is about 8” tall. The widest part at the bottom is about 3 1/8“, while the diameter at the top is also about 3 1/8”. It is a perfectly balanced vase.
CONDITION: Condition is excellent, with no chips, cracks or scratches on the glass. Inside the vase, there is an area that didn't receive glaze.
A really nice piece.
