This pretty little perfume bottle was designed to be worn as a pin or brooch. The bottle has a decorative metal case. A faceted glass “jewel” is set into the middle of each side; one is blue and one is light green. The metal lid also features a blue glass jewel; this one is smooth rather than faceted. The lid screws on and off. It includes a glass dauber. The bottle has “Made in France” embossed on the bottom. It is a bit difficult to read as it is partially covered by the metal casing.
A chain connects the perfume bottle to a lovely decorative the covers the pin mechanism. This mechanism includes an ingenious pull out on one end that allows the pin to be locked into place when worn.
We date this to the early part of the 1900s (possibly 1930s).
SIZE: The bottle by itself measures about 1 3/8 inches high by 7/8 inches wide and 3/8 inches deep. From top of pin to bottom of bottle, it hangs about 2 inches.
CONDITION: Condition is excellent. The bottle has no cracks or chips. The metal casing and lid are in excellent condition with no dings, cracks or corrosion. The dauber is complete. The pin mechanism works well.
