After Christmas SALE This listing is for a large blue and white swirl Graniteware Bucket or Pail in what looks like the Columbian pattern, with a Wooden Bale Handle! I purchased this from a KY Estate last week, and was thrilled to get it! I have quite a collection of this early 1900's Enamel Ware, American made, in lots of different colors, but the larger the white swirls and the deeper the blue color, the more I like it! I am also quite partial to buckets in all sizes and especially when they have Wooden Bale Handles! They have enough of that great primitive look to mix with Pantry Boxes, Sugar Buckets and other kitchen collectibles, while they also have a great place in your French country or Farmhouse decor!
This bucket has almost no issues, especially when you just see it from a distance. There are bumps or dings to the black trim around the top and maybe a glaze pop on one of the ears where the rivets were once covered that attach the handle to the bucket. But just take a look at the bottom of this bucket, and you can see someone has taken great care of this old bucket!
Not measuring the handle, this bucket is app. 6 7/8" to the top of the bucket itself, but it is 9 1/2" across the top. With the Bale Handle up, it is between 12 1/2-13" tall. It's white on the inside, the amazing blue and white swirl on the outside with black trim around the edges. I love it and I think you will agree it is a phenomenal find! I bought it to resell, but I won't mind adding it to my own collection if it doesn't sell soon.
I am always happy to combine purchases to save you on shipping, so please be sure to let me know if you are interested in other items I have collected. I have several pieces of Cobalt blue swirl in buckets, pitchers, coffee pots and more at the local antique mall where I have a booth, so if you are looking for something in particular to add to your graniteware collection, please ask, as I just might have one! I also have a couple more pieces already in my shop if they haven't sold by the time you see this, so you may want to take another look.
Thanks so much for shopping with me, and God Bless You! May we honor Him in all we say and do!
Something special you're looking for? Please ask, as I love the hunt!
