SALE I love this Early 1900's French Christmas Greeting Postcard with a beautiful little child adorned with strawberry blond curls, wearing a blue coat and hat trimmed in snow white fur! The seller noted to me that this is an unsigned Clapsaddle , and it has the "Kopal" trademark which was for the publishers and commercial printers Fritz Koch and Dr. Phillip Palm. Although it is my understanding that this was a German firm , the message is French. The Happy Christmas Greeting is Heureux Noels, and this lovely embossed card is a perfect selection for collectors of early Holiday Postcards. It's almost like the little girl is framed, with gold gilt around her, what may be snow lit moon behind her, and mistletoe and holly leaves and berries to accent the greeting. It has two postmarks, and is in remarkable good condition. You won't be disappointed to add this one to your collection of fine postcards!
I am always happy to combine purchases to save you on shipping, so please be sure to let me know if you are interested in other items I have listed. I have many other wonderful Holiday postcards as well as some real photo cards and early cabinet cards as well as CDVs. I can mail several together for almost the same cost as one. Insurance is no longer allowed on "postcards," but the shipping fee will include free tracking, and they will be packed carefully so that they don't get bent.
Thanks so much for shopping with me, and God Bless YoU! May we honor Him in all we say and do!
***There is no insurance or tracking for First Class International shipping, so I cannot be responsible for packages once they leave my hands. Also, due to previous issues with Non-delivery, etc., I no longer ship to Thailand or Russia.***
