ON HOLD FOR LYNN TO PURCHASE

SALE Take a look at this wonderful Early Large White Ironstone Pitcher measuring 10" to the tallest point, with a flower and vine design on both sides of the Rope Handle. Purchased from a long time reputable White Ironstone Antique dealer that used to do shows, this is a wonderful pitcher! I am unable to distinguish the full marking on the bottom, as it has either been smeared in application or some other reason, but it has Ironstone China with what looks like a crown on the top and other figures to the sides. This tells me it could have been Furnival, Meakin, Wedgwood, or other makers, but I can't say for sure who the maker is.

The pattern reminds me of the trailing tulip, yet the handle is a rope style rather than being beaded. It also looks a bit like Fuschia, but again, there are some differences. So all I can tell you for sure is what you can see in the pictures.

The condition is great, with no chips, cracks or breaks anywhere! There is one tiny place under the glaze on one side that looks like a circle, so don't know if there was a pop before the glaze or what, but it is smooth. I have not tried to soak or clean this pitcher in any way, because I love it just like it is! If you want it to be sparkling white all over, you may choose to soak it in creamy peroxide, but I really don't think you will want to do anything to it. It's just a fine example of an early ironstone pitcher! I would estimate it to be from the 19th century, but again, without the complete marking, I am unable to give it a firm dating. This will be a wonderful pitcher to add to your collection of early white Ironstone Pottery!

I am always happy to combine purchases to save you on shipping whenever it can be mailed safely, so please be sure to let me know if you are interested in other items I have listed. I am also willing to check FEDEX prices for shipping as long as you have a house or business address rather than a PO box.

Thanks so much for shopping with me, and God Bless YoU! May we honor Him in all we say and do!
