SALE This is the first of 4 Early Redware pieces I will be listing from the same estate, and this is a 7" Pitcher or Jug with Black Manganese decoration. It is not without flaws including some chips and wearing of the glaze, but it still is a beautiful piece. The clay must just be so soft in this Redware that it is not unusual to see chips that have occurred over the last hundred plus years! I just returned from the antique shows in Nashville, TN and I saw many pieces of redware for large prices, and condition issues on so many of the pieces. Still, this is a wonderful collectible, and if you turn it just right, you can hide many of the imperfections.
I have taken pictures from all angles, so please take a look at all of them to see exactly what you will be getting. There are lots of copies, but this is the real deal! Great pitcher, great size, great color! This is a consignment piece, so even dealer discounts will have to be approved by the owner.
I am always happy to combine purchases to save you on shipping, so please be sure to let me know if you are interested in other items I have listed. Be sure to check back for the other 3 pieces from this collection.
Thanks so much for shopping with me, and God Bless You! May we honor Him in all we say and do!
***Due to previous problems with non-delivery, I no longer ship to Thailand or Russia. Also, there is no insurance or tracking available for First Class International, so I cannot be responsible once the package leaves my hands. I will pack very carefully regardless.***
I am always happy
