SALE Look at this cool vintage double strand necklace that looks like a mix of celluloid and lucite, although it may just be very light weight plastics! The clasp is covered with aa 8 petal flower. There are round opalescent looking beads, peach colored beads in the mushroom like shape, and flowers that look like carved celluloid with green on one side and salmon colored on the other side. In addition, there are little black plastic beads between the different shapes, and the creamy opalescent ones have gold tone end caps.
The outer strand is about 20" long from the clasp, while the shorter one is between 18-19 inches, closer to 19". What a fun necklace for this summer or anytime! I believe this is probably from the 1940's-50's. The beads are very lightweight, so this will be a comfortable one to wear too. The owner lived to be in her late 90's and I was able to buy a few pieces of her fun jewelry. You won't be disappointed to add this to your collection of vintage necklaces!
